B.      Seen passage (35 marks)

(Deduct 2 marks for each misspelled word, 1 mark for each punctuation mistake)

A recent survey asked Hong Kongers which comic characters they liked.  The three most popular are no surprise – Old Master Q, McMug and McDull.

Since 1962, readers have enjoyed finding out what embarrassing but funny situations childlike Old Master Q will get into next.  However, the comic also has a serious side, looking at the everyday problems faced by people in Hong Kong.

McMug and McDull appear in Mak and Tse’s wonderful stories which emphasise the importance of family and friendship.

Good morning, everyone.  Today I’m going to talk about an interview that I saw on TV last week.  The interview was with my idol, Emma Watson.  She played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films.

To begin, the host asked Emma how old she was when she acted in the first Harry Potter film.  Can you believe that she was only nine years old? (64 words)
