Good morning everyone. Have you ever hiked alone with nobody else around? What would you do if you were trapped under a very large rock? Would you wait for rescue or try every means to save yourself? Obviously the former is not an option when Aron was stuck in a remote and narrow canyon for 127 hours. This adventurous mountain climber accidentally dislodged an eight-hundred-pound boulder that crushed his right hand and wrist against the canyon wall. With limited food and water, he resorted to cutting off his arm with a pocketknife after spending desperate days alone.

Even though he might seem to be full of himself at the beginning, Aron is incredibly determined and a beacon of hope for those who feel life is meaningless.
