Dear teachers and students,

The main round application of the Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) (www.eapp.gov.hk) will end on 23 May 2016.  We appeal for early study planning and submission of applications through E-APP.  Information on post-secondary course and the “2016 Application Information and Admission Arrangement for Full-time Locally-accredited Sub-degree and Undergraduate Programmes NOT Covered under JUPAS” has been uploaded to the websites of E-APP website and Information Portal for Accredited Post-secondary Programmes (iPASS) (www.ipass.gov.hk).

Through E-APP, students can apply for most full-time locally-accredited non-JUPAS sub-degree and undergraduate degree programmes in advance and may receive conditional offers from institutions before the release of HKDSE Examination results.  Upon announcement of HKDSE examination results on 13 July 2016, E-APP will pass the students’ HKDSE examination results from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) directly to the institutions being applied so as to facilitate early confirmation of offers by institutions.  Students need not notify institutions of their examination results in person.

The E-APP main round application will last until 23 May 2016 while the second round will run from 30 May to 30 June 2016.  Applications for both rounds will be passed to respective institutions for processing.  In general, institutions will process applications received in the main round first.  Students are advised to apply through E-APP as soon as possible to avoid network traffic jam close to the deadline.
